1. About this policy
Vobliq Loop is a social and local shop discovery product from the Vobliq brand. This policy explains the current product website and the privacy approach planned for the app. The app is in development; this website does not currently offer account registration, live shop collections, messaging or app downloads.
When app features become available, the notice shown at registration will identify the legal operator, relevant contact details, active services and applicable policy version. New data uses will be described before those features ask you to provide information.
2. Information used by this website
The current website does not ask for your name, phone number, email address or payment details. It has no registration, newsletter or waitlist form, no advertising trackers and no analytics SDK integrated into its source. Product profiles and conversations shown here are illustrative.
Your chosen light or dark theme is stored on your device so the site can remember it. Animation settings and illustrative like/save buttons operate in the page. If you used an earlier collections demo, its sample changes may remain in your browser’s storage; the website no longer reads or updates that demo. You can remove site data through your browser settings.
Serving a website requires technical connection information, such as IP address and browser request details. A deployed hosting provider may process these for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Hosting and log-retention details will be confirmed for the production deployment. Images and fonts used on these pages are served with the website.
3. Information planned for the app
When enabled, account features may use your username, display name, verified phone or email, securely hashed credentials, profile photo, bio, chosen city, interests and privacy preferences. Age eligibility may require appropriate information, limited to what is necessary.
Social features will use content you choose to share, such as image posts, captions, comments, original reviews, likes and follows. Private messages, shop collections, Wishlist and self-reported Visited notes have separate access controls. Device information, notification tokens, login sessions and safety reports may be needed to operate and protect those features.
Choosing a city will not require granting precise GPS access. Optional location, camera, photo-library and notification permissions will be requested for the feature that needs them. You can manage device permissions in your operating system.
4. How information will be used
The planned app will use information to create and secure accounts, show the city you select, deliver social interactions and messages, organise your private collections, publish your original reviews, verify shop claims, apply your preferences and investigate abuse. It will also support service reliability and required legal obligations.
We will explain optional processing when it is offered and provide the relevant choice or permission. Sponsored placements will be labelled. Private messages and private collections are not intended to be disclosed to advertisers or merchants as a way to identify who saved or visited a shop.
5. Who can see what
Information you intentionally publish, such as a public post or an original shop review, can be visible to other people. Reviews are planned as public contributions even if your profile is private; this will be explained before you submit one. A private profile restricts its protected posts to approved followers.
Shop lists, Wishlist and Visited notes are planned to be private to their owner. Direct messages are intended for the conversation participants. Operational access to reports, ownership evidence and restricted information must be limited to authorised staff for a defined purpose. These controls do not prevent a recipient from taking a screenshot or retaining something you already shared.
6. Service providers and Google Maps
The app architecture plans to use service providers for hosting and media storage, verification messages, email and push delivery. The final processor list and operating locations will be confirmed before app registration opens. Providers may process relevant technical information to deliver their services, including outside your country where applicable safeguards and law permit.
Where local discovery uses Google Maps Platform, Google-sourced information will be identified separately from shop-owned content and original Vobliq reviews. Use of Google services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy. We do not treat Google ratings as Vobliq ratings or copy Google reviews into our independent review system.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, to respond to a valid legal request, protect safety or investigate fraud. A material business transfer affecting personal information would require an appropriate notice and safeguards.
7. Security and retention
The planned security design includes encrypted connections, protected storage, hashed passwords, rotating sessions and access checks for private content. No online service can promise absolute security. Do not share passwords or verification codes, including with someone claiming to represent Vobliq.
Personal information will be retained for the purposes explained to you, while needed to operate the service, or where a documented legal or safety requirement applies. The production app must publish its actual retention periods and deletion process before collecting account data. Erasure may be staged across active systems and expiring backups; any justified retention exception must be explained rather than represented as immediate removal everywhere.
8. Your choices, requests and account deletion
You can currently change the website theme, pause animations and clear browser site data. You may contact us about access, correction, erasure, consent choices or a privacy concern. App settings and request flows will be made available with the corresponding account features; this website does not currently hold a Loop account that you can delete.
Requesting deletion must not be confused with instant completion. Account ownership must be verified, affected access revoked and permitted retention exceptions handled. Data exports must not expose someone else’s private content or restricted provider data.
Write to hello@vobliq.com with “Vobliq Loop privacy request” in the subject. Opening an email link creates a draft in your email application; it does not send a request automatically. Avoid sending passwords, OTPs or identity documents in an initial email.
9. Age eligibility
The proposed app launch is for people aged 18 or older. It is not intended to collect children’s account information. Any future change to eligibility must include an appropriate age-assurance and permission process under applicable law. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through a Loop service, contact us.
10. Updates and contact
We will update this page when the service or its practices change, with a revised date and additional notice where needed. This pre-release notice does not claim that every planned app safeguard is already implemented.
General and privacy contact: hello@vobliq.com. The legal operator’s identity, address and designated grievance contact must be published before app account registration opens. You retain any rights and complaint routes available under applicable law.
